Founder of Southern Charm Quilts, Meander + Make, Quilt Class Melanie Traylor

Melanie Traylor is a quilt pattern and fabric designer, author, and passionate quilter. She began her quilting journey in 2008 as a self-taught maker and has since completed hundreds of quilts. Her love for the craft led her to start selling quilts on Etsy, which eventually evolved into designing her own quilt patterns and fabric collections. She is the author of A Life With Quilts and StashWork and many quilt patterns that emphasize creativity, accessibility, and a love for fabric. In 2021, she founded Quilt Class, an online quilting school designed to be accessible and affordable for anyone eager to learn the art of quilting. Melanie also owns and operates Meander + Make, a fabric shop that provides everything a quilter needs–from curated fabric bundles and quilt kits to essential tools and supplies. She continues to inspire and support quilters of all skill levels through her work, sharing her passion through her books, patterns, and online teaching.

    All classes that you are enrolled in are located in the "my dashboard" section.

  • Can I rewatch the lessons?

    Yes! You'll have lifetime access to revisit the videos whenever you need.

  • What if I have questions during the class?

    You can ask questions in the "discussions" tab within each lesson, visit the private community, or email for support.

  • Is this a live class?

    No, these are pre-recorded courses, so you can start anytime and go at your own pace.

  • Can I get a refund if I change my mind?

    Due to the digital nature of the class, all sales are final. If you have any concerns, reach out, and we'll be happy to help.

  • Do supplies come with the class purchase?

    No. The classes include the quilt pattern and step-by-step video demos, but no fabric or quilting supplies. You'll need to gather your materials or purchase a curated kit separately from Meander + Make.
