About the Course
Cozy Fall Stitches is all about slowing down with seasonal projects that are fun to sew and easy to enjoy. Each week brings a new project that builds your skills while giving you something useful or decorative to show off right away. You’ll explore different techniques in approachable ways, like sewing curves, turning edges without binding, adding hand quilting, and shaping with stuffing and thread. The class is designed so you can use favorite fabrics you already have, or try something scrappy and playful. By the end, you’ll have a small collection of handmade pieces that celebrate fall and make your home feel warm and inviting.
Meet Your Instructor, Melanie
I’m Melanie Traylor, the designer behind Southern Charm Quilts and Quilt Class. Quilting has been part of my life for many years, and I love creating patterns and fabric collections that are approachable, fun, and a little bit playful. Teaching is where I get to slow down and share the joy of sewing step by step, whether you’re brand new or have been quilting for decades. My favorite part is helping you finish a project you feel proud of and showing you that quilting doesn’t have to be complicated to be beautiful.
