In the Trippy Class...

We will make this quilt together beginning to end. From choosing fabrics to block making to quilting to binding. Let's do this together!

  • We will go in depth when choosing a color palette and pulling fabrics to support it. I'll give you all of my tips and what I like to think about as I work through a fabric pull. You'll also see how I find color palettes.

  • Trippy is strip pieced! And we will walk through every step of this together. It can be a bit tricky if you've never made a quilt this way, but I'm here to hold your hand and guide you along!

  • We will finish Trippy together too! I'll walk you through my favorite method of basting: wall basting. Then, we will free motion quilt and chunky hand stitch bind to complete the quilt.

Great tips on piecing and binding

Cathleen Peterson

I love the tip on ironing so that your seams nest. It helped make the process easier. I'll definitely try the chunky stich binding.
